What is Totals Predictor?
The Totals Predictor is an innovative tool crafted based on the concepts of Jonathan Ma. Let’s delve into its functionality. We construct two lines for each team.
The blue line represents the Over/Under metric. We designate a value of 1 for Overs and -1 for Unders. In this predictive framework, over/unders are established at 5.5. Any match resulting in a push at 5 is deemed an under for 5.5.
The red line denotes the variance between the over/under predicated on the previous 10 games. For instance, a 6-4 preference towards over translates to +2, while a 3-7 leaning towards under equates to -4.
The subsequent step involves juxtaposing the lines to identify recurring trends. For instance, if both teams exhibit an upward trend on the red line, it indicates heightened goal-scoring activity, suggesting the likelihood of the game surpassing 5.5 goals!
