In the 4th round of the TAURON Liga, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź overcame injuries to key players, Maria Stenzel and Angelika Gajer, to secure a 3-0 victory against ITA TOOLS Stal Mielec. The match, held in Mielec, saw the Łódź team start strong, taking an early lead. Despite some resistance from the home team, ŁKS maintained control, winning the first set 25-20 after a solid performance from Anna Obiała.
ŁKS Edges Close Second Set
The second set proved more challenging for the visitors as Mielec fought back to level the score at 21-21. However, ŁKS Commercecon held their nerve, with Natalia Mędrzyk closing out the set in a 26-24 victory. Effective serves from Klaudia Alagierska and strong play from Obiała kept ŁKS in the lead.
Final Push for Victory
In the third set, ITA TOOLS Stal started well, gaining a 4-2 lead, but ŁKS quickly responded. With strong serves from Obiała and crucial points from Anastasia Hryshchuk, the visitors secured a 25-19 win in the final set, completing a 3-0 sweep. Obiała’s outstanding performance earned her the MVP award.
