Warsaw hosts the 2025 Polish U22 International Wrestling Championships

The U22 International Polish Wrestling Championships will take place on November 14–15, 2025, in Warsaw, at the OSiR Włochy sports venue, featuring both freestyle and women’s wrestling competitions. This highly anticipated event will attract top young wrestling talents from around the world. Each athlete will compete within designated weight categories, with a 2 kg weight allowance in accordance with the Polish Wrestling Federation (PZZ) guidelines.

Weight Categories and Rules of the Competition

The tournament will include multiple weight divisions for both men’s freestyle and women’s Olympic wrestling, with weight classes ranging from 50 kg to 125 kg. Matches will be held on three mats, ensuring that athletes can showcase their skills while fans enjoy non-stop action. The Polish Wrestling Federation’s Referee Board will oversee officiation, while competitors must arrange their own insurance coverage.

The action begins on Friday, November 14, when teams and officials arrive for check-in, followed by a medical review and weigh-ins. The main event on Saturday, November 15, starts at 9:00 a.m. with elimination rounds, leading to the final gala at 5:00 p.m. The evening finale promises to be an exciting spectacle.
