In the third round of the ENBL, Legia Warsaw faced off against Inter Bratislava in a highly anticipated away game. Despite a strong effort, Legia fell 89-83, marking their first loss in this season’s European competition. Isaiah Cousins led Inter with 29 points, pushing his team to victory after a tight, back-and-forth battle.
A Tight First Half Battle
Inter Bratislava started strong, taking an early lead with solid defense and key three-pointers from Cousins and Caruthers. Legia managed to keep pace, tying the game in the first quarter and even taking a narrow lead at halftime, 46-44, thanks to standout performances from Jawun Evans and Kameron McGusty.
Inter Seals the Win in Final Minutes
The game remained close until the final quarter when Inter ramped up their intensity. Cousins continued his dominant performance, scoring crucial points that gave the Slovak team a nine-point lead midway through the last quarter. Despite Legia’s efforts, they couldn’t close the gap, leading to a hard-fought 89-83 win for Inter Bratislava.
